			<description>Over the last two years we have been giving assistance to an UNSW PhD student Erin Roger collecting DNA samples of wombats for her research.  She recently contacted us to say our samples showed an unusual degree of inbreeding.  This surprises us as we are located adjacent to Blue Mountains National Park and the Jenolan/Hampton State Forest areas and would have assumed that there is little limiting movement of animals.
