Wombat Mentoring

An idea that I thought that I would just throw out there. If the idea of an online course seems difficult then what about the idea of a system of mentoring. The idea would be that a system of mentors be set up so that new people coming into the society who want to learn more are introduced to an older member who they can turn to if they have problems or questions. The older member would not necessarily have the answer but would hopefully have a better idea of how to go about finding it. I know when we first started getting involved with wombats (and still do) we found it very useful to be able to call on other more experienced members for advice.
