Do wombats dream
Last night the younger of our two babies started screatching like they do when they are distressed or warning off another wombat, but she was clearly asleep. The older baby snuggle up closer with her nose up against the others nose and everything quieten down. I have never seen any reference to this type of behaviour. Has anybody else seen similar behaviour?

Re: Do wombats dream
Oh, I'm quite positve that all animals dream!! I've had wombats that are are "running" while asleep (legs going full tilt while lying on their side) and I'm sure they are dreaming of running through a green field!! They also "talk" in their sleep. And if you look very carefully there is RIM - Rapid Eye Movement - which is an indication of dreaming.
