Hi there,

My name is Linda and I live in the Central West of NSW on an 85 acre Wildlife Refuge. I've been a wildife carer since the late 90's and have been educating people on wildilfe care for about 5 years. I've cared for many species of native animal but specialise in the Bare-Nosed Wombat and have raised and soft released 14 on my property. There is a healthy, mange-free wombat population living in and around my property.

I've written a care guide called A Guide to the Care of Bare-Nosed Wombats which can be found on the Wombat Protection website. The guide was co-written by Dr Anne Fowler, Kim Rolls (the veterinary care section) and Anne-Marie Dineen (the naturopathic section).

I also have a huge interest in the Northern Hairy-Nosed Wombat and volunteered for the project in 2007 - which was totally and utterly unreal!!
